FP or Gawker.......

My own personal viewpoints aside, I find it interesting reading some of the stuff and just how many people vehemently refuse to even acknowledge opposing viewpoints to their own and then when they do, their rebuttals to one another can be roughly summed up as follows:

“You’re wrong because I said so and I’m not gonna back this up with ANY hard evidence”

Internet degrees in law and political science seem to be abounding and it would appear the most vocal sometimes have the least experience with the topic they speak of.

See what I did there? I didn’t deal in absolutes.....

BTW — I’m fairly certain that Albus Gandolf didn’t say that.....

Oppo is also guilty of this (in fact, I’m sure Peter Black dies a little bit every time someone makes a “lol VW reliability” joke), as I’ve run into my fair share of people who ignore evidence that goes against their gut feelings. The worst thing that happens to a debate is when people don’t argue with evidence, or recognize that they might be wrong.

They are great, low-pros and kinda overrated. Big meaty rubber looks excellent, and generally gives a better ride.

Gawker proper is far worse than FP. That said, I've noticed the personal attach method of debate there lately. Usually, it's not the more regular jalops. I just remember when it all goes to shit, I can always chill out and go eat a sandwich.
